The thing that's always intrigued me about these kind of books, ever since I was a kid, is the work which must have gone into making them. This being BEFORE the days of simple screenshots!
ReplyDeleteThese picture strips have been made recently by Laurence, one of my blog readers.
ReplyDeleteIn that case, good job very well done.
ReplyDeleteThis film sequence is shown actually in the making in the short film The Riddle of Robin Hood which I acquired a year or two ago. Clement has a copy of the DVD. It shows the camera being pushed across the set as it films Richard Todd and Peter Finch walk towards the drawbridge. Fascinating to see really. The interior of the castle was a very large set constructed at Denham Film Studios by the Art Director Carmen Dillon. I have to say ( as I have done before) that the studio sets in this film are among the very best I have ever seen.
