Hubert Gregg superb as Prince John. Ken Annakin refers to the scenes between him and Peter Finch - two superb actors. He was indeed a multi multi talented man. Have located much more on The Riddle of Robin Hood short promotional film released in 1952 if anyone interested. I cant send anything to Clement of the Glen as I do not have a e mail address.
I am very interested in any information on 'The Riddle of Robin Hood' and anything else connected to the film or the legend. I will be putting an email address on the web site soon.
I have in my possession the short promotional film 'The Riddle of Robin Hood' on 16mm original film. It was made in black and white. Wonderful shots of Walt Disney, Perce Pearce and Lawrence Watkins discussing the film. Also he stars arriving in costume to the riverside location at the scene where the dog attacks Ptere Finch. Shows Richard Todd rehearsing the quarter staff fight and Carmen Dillon and Walt Disney viewing the drawbridge scene as a model. Very interesting. Neil sales@neilvessey.com
