This is just a wonderful illustration by Howard Pyle, taken from his classic book, The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood (1883).

  2. Magic moments. i love the scene where Elton Hayes is forced to sing by Little john , Robin is coverd in flower , Elton is really getting into the fal-de-da, its very funny, another moment is "Whistle my Love" sung in the forest a just the right walking pace.briliant.

  3. A lilting chuckle, thats what i hear in Eltons voice , you can tell when he is really happy with the song he is singing , very evident in the song , "The Bold Black Knight" from the Alan Ladd film.he was perfect as Alan a Dale.
