Laurence seems just able to pick out the exact stills that are needed to make this picture strip so interesting. Obviously showing it to us is a bit like 'preaching to the converted' but nonetheless I think anyone would be impressed by the clarity and colour of the stills he has chosen and how he has managed to show the flow of the story. Always pleased to see the next one that is released on to the site. You did show a week or so ago a picture of Richard Todd and Joan Rice in costume playing around on the set of the film. It was a lovely shot. I did wonder if this was taken at the Elstree casting test in March of 1951 because the costumes and hair style seemed more like that time. Dont know really though BUT it was a great picture

I agree Neil, Laurence has made a fantastic job of this picture strip and brings the colour and action of the film back to life.

You have made a very interesting observation about the picture of Joan and Richard playing around on set. After checking back to Joan's screen test and the costumes I believe you are right and it was at Elstree not Denham.
